Policyholders who are comfortable with the online option for checking their policy status can use this option. For getting the policy status online, customers need to register on the official website of the company. Right after registration, the policyholder can check their policy status by entering their User ID/Login ID and a Password.
Customers can change their password if they forgot their password or if they felt that their password is not private anymore with the help of the 'Forgot Password' option. Only new customers have to register with their details. However, the existing customer can log in directly.
After logging in, the policyholder needs to enter their policy number and other relevant details for checking their IndiaFirst Policy Status. A chat box named ‘IRIS’ is also available at the corner of their web page. Customers can also ask their queries using this chat option. IRIS helps the policyholder with any detail.
The policyholders will have to follow the steps mentioned below to check their IndiaFirst Life Insurance Policy Status on Policybazaar:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Policybazaar Brokers Private Limited. On the top right, click on the ‘Sign in’ tab.
Step 2: Enter your registered phone number and the OTP received on the same.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the dashboard. Choose the policy tab, here you can check the status of all the insurance policies you have.
Policyholders can check their policy status offline too. This option helps their customers to have direct interaction with the company. Suppose a customer chose this option for checking their policy status. In that case, they are requested to bring all the documents about the policy and their ID proofs – both original and Xerox. (Originals are only used for reference purposes. Only Xerox copies will be collected from the customer if necessary. Originals will be returned back to the customers after the verification process).

The SMS option provided by IndiaFirst is an easy one. With the SMS option's help, the customers can get details of their policy status whenever needed. There are two codes available for checking different categories. One is for getting fund value, and the other one is for getting the policy information.
