There is no dearth of insurance companies in Visakhapatnam, even in the entire state. Insuring vehicle is as important as registering it to provide optimum protection against eventualities. When third party insurance is a mandatory buy as per the M.V Act, 1988, there are comprehensive insurance, personal accident insurance and other add-on coverage that provide complete protection. One can buy insurance either offline or online.
However, online insurance will be the most convenient yet cost-effective. It allows the insurance seeker to compare the plans in terms of certain parameters such as claim settlement ratio, coverage, features, premiums etc. which further enables him/her to take a firm decision. However, people still consider buying insurance offline either directly approaching the insurance company or through an agent. Well, whatever is the mode, one must be careful to avoid fraudulent activities.
