Dreams become reality at Policybazaar’s Jeeto Apna Ghar 2.0

It was not a regular Thursday evening at Policybazaar for our PB Superheroes (Insurance advisors). They had been waiting for this particular day for a long time, as it was the day when all the hard work of our PB advisors was rewarded. Yes, we celebrated our “Jeeto Apna Ghar” Contest- 2.0, offering our insurance advisors a chance to win their own home worth Rs. 25 lacs.

The whole idea behind this contest was to reward our advisors' hard work with something symbolic and nothing would have been better than “Apna Ghar” (One’s own house). “Policybazaar aims to have the best sales team in the country and provide them the best earning opportunities. Today, we are here to recognize our best of the best, with something unmatched,” said Sarbvir Singh, CEO, Policybazaar.com. The entire year, our advisors worked diligently to deliver extraordinary performance. Due to their efforts and commitment, Policybazaar is able to make major advancements in the industry. From helping our customers choose the best insurance plan to support them in their claim process, our advisors ensure their entire insurance journey is smooth and hassle-free. They also have a hand in making Policybazaar a customer-centric company and expanding the insured Indian population.

As a part of the annual performance assessment, top achievers are chosen at Policybazaar. The top 30% of advisors in FY 20–21 were qualified to participate in the JAG (Jeeto Apna Ghar) contest. About 300 of these advisors qualified to grab lottery tickets to compete for a house. This was specifically based on their performance in FY 21-22. Lastly, an interesting lucky draw led to 5 advisors winning houses. 

“The strength of Policybazaar is in this room,” said Sarbvir to cheer the audience before announcing the winners' names. Finally, the names were announced and our winners screamed in amazement, a few got emotional. One of the winners asked to repeat his name as he couldn’t believe that he really won a house. The names of our advisors who won houses include Vikas Kumar, Bhrigu Magotra, Navneet Baniswal and Komal Rawat. Overall, Rs. 1.25 crores had been disbursed for the winners' houses and additionally, 300 advisors won cash rewards up to Rs. 3 lacs. A total of Rs. 3 crores cash prizes were disbursed to PB advisors.

Such appreciation and rewards motivate our PB superheroes to work more passionately and deliver our customers the best services in the industry. “Our goal is that each and every insurance advisor of Policybazaar earns up to Rs. 1 lacs per month as an incentive,” said Yashish Dahiya, Co-founder, Policybazaar.com. Presently, 20-25% of PB advisors make up to Rs. 1 lac per month and the company aims to increase the number up to 100%. 

“They say everybody is a winner. In this case everyone truly is a winner as the kind of work you guys do deserves to be applauded,” Sarbvir added to motivate our Non-JAG (Jeeto Apna Ghar) advisors. As Policybazaar has something for everyone, the SEED program, a first-of-its-kind program, was launched at the event for our sales and services team. Under this program, an advisor will be able to upskill and move faster in their professional career. This will help to give their career a much-needed boost!
