I have a health insurance policy of family floater for me and my wife. Recently we got twins. pls suggest if we should add them in our pre existing policy or buy a new policy for them altogether.
Hi Amit, thanks for reaching out. There aren't standalone health insurance policies available for newborns as of now. You can, however, add your newborn babies to your existing family floater policy or port to a new insurer and buy a fresh policy with them included in the policy.
Most policies provide cover for newborn babies over 90 days old. A few may provide day one cover.
We have arranged a callback for you from one of our health insurance advisors to assist you with any further questions and selection of the best option for you.
