I need to update my Car insurance details in mParivahan
Hi Joel, we are unable to locate any policies with us against the contact details you have shared here. If you have purchased your car insurance policy from Policybazaar, we request you to share the following from your registered email ID at care@policybazaar.com to allow us to investigate about your concern:
1. Policy copy or payment details (Transaction Screenshot or bank statement)
2. Insurer name
3. Vehicle registration number
4. Registered mobile no.
In case you purchased the policy elsewhere, kindly contact the insurer regarding the mparivahan issue.
In general, do note that it can sometimes take upto 30 days for your policy to reflect on myparivahan website after policy issuance. However, your insurance policy copy is a valid document that you can use to show to traffic authorities if needed. Also, the insurance reflected on mparivahan is the third party insurance (which is mandatory by law) or a comprehensive policy (incl. both third party and own damage). A standalone own damage policy does not reflect on mparivahan.
