Hi Jhamunda, we will try our best to help here. While most critical illness plans will not provide cover after being diagnosed. However, the insured has to serve you a waiting period. Critical illness policies are different, the policy only covers life-threatening diseases such as cancer, tumour, paralysis, etc. and they do not necessarily require hospitalization, the insured can get a lumpsum payout just on being diagnosed.
