The Reliance Health Corona Rakshak Insurance by Reliance Health Insurance is a COVID cover health insurance plan that provides a lump sum benefit to the insured when diagnosed with COVID-19. Scope of coverage under Reliance Corona Rakshak Insurance policy is mention below:
Treatment Coverage- All those who plan to buy Reliance Health Corona Rakshak insurance can get their COVID hospitalization costs covered if the insured needs to be hospitalized. This also covers the expenses incurred to buy gloves, masks, PPE kits, oxygen, ventilator charges, room charges, diagnostic taste, and even the boarding charges. This will also cover the ICU or ICCU charges. On the other hand, if the insured is treated at home, it covers treatment for 14 days.
Optimum Payout- Reliance Health Insurance provides the insured with the Reliance Health Corona Rakshak Insurance as a lump-sum amount of coverage. This can be used to pay the post-hospitalization treatment along with the bills in the hospital.
Standard Coverage- The policy does have standard features of all the insurance companies across the country.
Ambulance Charges- Ambulance charges are bound to incur while hospitalised. This charge will be compensated along with the payment of Rs 2,000 under this policy.
Pre and Post Hospitalization Cover-The policy covers the medical expenses incurred 15 days before the hospitalization as well as 30 days after the hospitalization. This also includes the charges for conducting the various tests in the hospital.

The Reliance Health Corona Rakshak Insurance policy can be canceled any time if it is found that there has been a misrepresentation of facts or correct information has not been revealed. It will also be canceled if the insured commits any fraud. Before canceling, the company gives a notice period of 7 days. In case the policy gets canceled due to misrepresentation, there will not be any refund of the premium amount.
The policyholder can also cancel the policy within 15 days, which is considered a free-look period.
