The BOI Star Flexi Recurring Deposit, offered by the Bank of India, is a deposit scheme designed for individuals and even joint accounts (including minors) who want to save regularly but also have some flexibility in their deposits.
Core Installments: Earn a fixed interest rate applicable to the chosen deposit period.
Flexi Installments: Earn the interest rate prevailing at the time you make the deposit.
Availability: The scheme is available at all domestic branches of the Bank of India.
Nomination: You can nominate a beneficiary to receive the deposit amount in case of your unfortunate demise.

Deposits Under BOI Star Flexi Recurring Deposit
Minimum Installment: This is the fixed monthly amount you commit to at account opening. It varies depending on your branch location:
Rs. 500 (and multiples of Rs. 500) for metro and urban branches.
Rs. 100 (and multiples of Rs. 100) for rural and semi-urban branches.
Maximum Installment: There's no upper limit on the core instalment amount you choose.
Flexi Installments: In addition to the core instalment, you can deposit any amount in multiples of your chosen core amount. There's no limit on the number of times you can make a flexi deposit within a month.
