Death Benefit: If all due premiums are paid, the following death benefits are available:
Before maturity (within the policy term): The candidate shall receive Death Benefit, i.e. the Sum Assured on Death, along with vested Simple Reversionary Bonuses and Final Additional Bonus (if any).
The Sum Assured on Death shall be the higher of:
125% of the Basic Sum Assured or 7 times the annualised premium.
The death benefit will not be less than 105% of the sum of all premiums paid up to the date of death.
Annualised Premium implies the premium payable on an annual basis excluding taxes, rider premium, underwriting additional premiums and modal loading.
After the policy period (maturity): If the Life Assured dies after the policy has been due, the Basic Sum Assured is payable.
Maturity Benefit: In case the Life Assured survives till the end of the policy term and all the premiums have been paid, the Basic Sum Assured will be paid as Sum Assured on Maturity along with vested Simple Reversionary Bonuses and Final Additional Bonus, if declared.
Sharing in Profits: The policy participates in LIC’s profits and is eligible for Simple Reversionary Bonuses declared during the policy term provided the policy is in force.
