What is an FD?

An FD is a savings instrument provided by any banking or non-commercial finance institution to its customers. In a fixed deposit, you can invest an amount for a period depending on the terms where you can earn an interest amount. When weighed up with the savings account, the fixed deposit will return high rates.

When you deposit in a fixed deposit, the most important point you should remember is that the sum invested will not be withdrawn until the period of maturity. You can have options to withdraw the amount for emergency purposes, and the penalties will be charged accordingly by the Bank. Below we discuss the Yes Bank NRE Fixed Deposit rates.
