First-Party Liability Coverage: The policy protects businesses from direct losses as a result of cyber incidents, including loss from e-theft, e-communication, and e-business interruption, among others.
Third-Party Liability Coverage: It also takes care of the liabilities your business is likely to face from third parties due to cyber incidents, such as disclosure liability, reputational liability, defence costs, etc.
Privacy Notification Expenses: The policy also pays for notifying affected customers and providing credit monitoring or similar services.

Previously Known Incidents: HDFC ERGO Cyber Insurance does not cover any event or circumstance that was already known or reported under a prior insurance policy.
Illegal or Fraudulent Acts: Any losses resulting from intentional breaches of law or fraudulent actions committed by your business are not covered under the plan.
Bodily or Property Harm: The policy does not cover any physical injuries, illness, death, or damage to tangible property.
Operational Failures: Losses resulting from mechanical breakdowns, wear and tear, electrical problems, or media failures are not included under coverage.
