Digit Contractors All Risk Insurance: Inclusions

The Contractors' All Risk insurance provided by Go Digit General Insurance Limited covers the following:

Material Damage: In the event of property damage occurring for any reason not specifically excluded during the policy period, Digit's policy provides coverage up to the specified amount. The insured will be reimbursed for the expenses related to debris clearance and removal.

Third-Party Liability: Digit's policy ensures indemnification for legal liabilities arising from the loss of other persons' property or injuries, fatal or non-fatal, to individuals other than the insured's employees.

Compensation: The policy also covers all costs and expenses related to litigation, whether recovered by claimants or incurred by the insured with our written consent.

Comprehensive Cover: Designed for projects where civil construction works constitute more than 50% of the total project value, the policy offers comprehensive coverage, subject to specified exclusions.

Add-On Covers: To address expenses not covered by the policy, additional coverage can be obtained through add-on covers.

Digit contractors all risk insurance does not provide coverage for the following perils:

Accidents Involving Vehicles: Accidents caused by vehicles on roads, water, and air are expressly not covered by the policy.

Defective Material and Artistry: Loss and damage resulting from the use of defective material, casting, and poor artistry are not covered under the policy.

Normal Wear and Tear and Negligence: Claims for damage due to normal wear and tear or negligence are not entertained by the policy.

Costs of Alterations and Improvement: The policy does not cover the costs of any alterations, additions, or improvements made as part of the regular maintenance of the building.

Faulty Design, Terrorism, War, and Nuclear Perils: Damage caused to the building due to faulty design, terrorism, war, and nuclear perils is not covered in the policy.

Loss of Files, Drawings, Accounts and Bills: Loss or damage to files, drawings, accounts, bills, contractual liabilities, and third-party liability are not covered in the Contractors' All Risks Insurance policy.

Loss Due to Faulty Design and Inventory Discovery: Loss due to faulty design and losses discovered only at the time of taking an inventory are not covered.
