Tata AIG Drone Insurance: Exclusions

- Wear and tear, deterioration, breakdown, defect or failure, subject to the policy's stated exceptions.
- Damage to the RPAS when the manufacturer's maximum permissible weight is exceeded with a payload attached.
- Loss or damage to the attached payload under the relevant RPAS damage section.
- Loss of revenue or profit.
- Loss or liability arising from night flying, recreational flying or BVLOS operations.
- Loss or liability arising when the RPAS is operated by a person below 18 years or when the RPAS is not NPNT compliant.

Tata AIG RPAS Insurance: Claim Process
In case of a claim:
- Notify Tata AIG in writing as soon as practicable after becoming aware of circumstances that may give rise to a claim, and in any case within 30 days of obtaining knowledge of the circumstance.
- Forward relevant letters, claims, writs, summons and other legal processes to the insurer on receipt.
- Cooperate fully with Tata AIG and provide the assistance, documents and access to premises requested.
- Tata AIG may take over the defence or settlement of a claim at its discretion.
- Where the insurer takes over the claim, it states that a claim will ordinarily be settled or rejected within 30 days of receiving the last necessary document; where investigation is required, the stated timeline is up to 45 days.
