The policy does not cover:

Fraudulent, dishonest, criminal, or malicious acts committed by the insured.

Losses occurring before the policy's retroactive date.

Physical injury, property damage, or physical theft of devices.

Business or professional cyber activities.

Cryptocurrency or other non-fiat currency losses.

War, terrorism, government actions, illegal use or collection of data, insolvency of banks or mobile wallet providers, and immoral or obscene online activities.

Tata AIG CyberShield Insurance: Claim Process

To raise a claim under the policy:

Notify Tata AIG as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the cyber incident.

Submit a duly completed and signed claim form.

File an FIR or cybercrime complaint wherever applicable.

Provide supporting documents such as bank correspondence, legal notices, invoices, proof of expenses, ownership of devices, and any other documents requested by the insurer.

Cooperate during claim assessment until the claim is processed as per the policy terms and conditions.
