Types of Shivalik Small Finance FD Schemes

Non-Callable Fixed Deposit

  • Meant for lump sum investments above ₹1 crore.
  • Offers a higher rate of return compared to regular FDs.
  • No premature or partial withdrawal is allowed.
  • Depositors can choose monthly or quarterly interest pay-outs for regular income.
  • Opting for a re-investment FD gives the benefit of quarterly compounding.

Regular Fixed Deposits

  • Tenure ranges from 7 days to 10 years.
  • Depositors can choose monthly or quarterly interest pay-outs, or take the full interest at maturity.
  • A Premature withdrawal of Shivalik FD leads to a 1% penalty, or the original card rate, whichever is lower.
  • For deposits up to 6 months, interest is calculated on a simple basis; beyond 6 months, it is compounded quarterly.
  • A loan against FD or overdraft facility is available.

Tax Saver Fixed Deposit

  • Minimum deposit amount is Rs 1,000.
  • Shivalik Tax Saver FD comes with a 5-year lock-in period.
  • Senior citizens get 0.50% extra interest under this scheme.
  • Deposits qualify for a tax deduction of up to Rs 1.5 lakh under Section 80C every financial year.

Note: Section 80C deduction is available only under the old tax regime. It does not apply under the new default tax regime from FY 2026-27. 80C benefits are now covered under Section 123 of the Income Tax Act, 2025.
