The fund has 100% investment in Indian stocks, of which 70.15% is in large-cap stocks, 13.64% is in mid-cap stocks and 16.21% in small-cap stocks. The fund objective is to generate alpha by superior stock selection and remove market risks by hedging with appropriate indexes. ICICI Prudential Opportunities Fund is housed under the Fund House, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, which is set up as a Trust, following the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 under a Trust Deed dated August 25, 1993. ICICI Prudential Trust Limited is the Trustee of the Fund and is the exclusive owner of the Fund and holds the same in trust for the benefit of the unitholders. ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited (“the AMC”) was registered with SEBI on October 13, 1993, to act as the Investment Manager to all the Schemes of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. The Trustee has executed an Investment Management Agreement dated September 3, 1993, with the AMC to operate as the Investment Manager for all the schemes of the Fund.
The Fund House is sponsored by ICICI Bank Limited and Prudential Plc. The Fund has a diversified product basket of over 68 schemes with active investors exceeding 60 lakhs across 300 locations in India.
