Employees are the backbone of any company since all the departments of an office are divided into teams, the managers of different teams need to help them in building a sense of trust among each other, after all, it is important for these employees to stay united and work for the company as a team. Since trust cannot be built overnight, managers can organize team activities like fun games that can be played in groups. These games will work as a medium for team members to interact with each other. So, here are some of those fun games that can be organized by the managers.
Dumb Charades
This is a party game but one of the most popular games. It requires 6 to 12 people and no material is required or it. This is a classic game and it works as a great team builder. If there are 12 members then teams will be divided into 6-6. Let us name them Team A and Team B.
Now, a member of Team A will come up and the Team B will tell that member of team A that can be either a name of a movie or a famous song. Now, that member of team A will have to explain his/her team in sign language without uttering a word. If team A recognizes that movie or song, they get a point, if they do not then they no points.
Don’t Smile
This is a game that helps in making team members comfortable with each other. This game requires 5-10 people. It takes not more than 10-15 minutes. This is a very straightforward game and it will help you engage them easily. It can be very helpful for the new teammates so that they do not feel any kind of pressure in their new job.
It is very simple to play this game. Ask everyone to sit in a circle, the get them to stare at each other as long as possible and they cannot smile. The last person to refrain from smiling will win the game.
Scavenger Hunt
Since office buildings have plenty of space and this one is a classic example of building team and trust among the players. It makes the team members bond with each other. Other things that can be acquired in an employee are the strategizing and problem-solving nature.
This game requires at least 8-12 people. Mobile phones, pens, and papers can come in handy. Now if there are 12 people then 3 teams can be divided into a group of 4. Now you can assign each team a list of items that are hidden inside the office building. Mention clues and riddles through which they can locate that item. The team that brings all the hidden things mentioned in the list first wins.
Jigsaw Puzzle
This game requires a good eye, strategy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. It will also test the leadership skill of the employees. This game requires at least 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. Let suppose there are 8 people then they can be divided into 4 parts of 2 or 2 parts of 4.
Now, you require a different set of the puzzle to provide each team with one set. Now you might be wondering what is the x-factor of this game. So let me tell you that there will be some of the pieces of the puzzle mixed and another team might be having it. To solve their puzzle, all the teams will have to negotiate and trade the puzzle piece missing in their set. The team that builds the puzzle first wins the game.
Conclusion

Usually, companies organize half-yearly or yearly parties for the employees where it becomes difficult for everyone to be able to interact with everyone. Whereas organizing fun games acitivities like these will work like a charm and the team members will be able to bond with each other and understand each other’s mindset.
