Key Traffic Rules for Two-Wheeler Riders

  • Helmet Use: Always wear a helmet while riding a two-wheeler to prevent severe head injuries. Ignoring this rule can lead to significant fines.
  • Passenger Limits: A two-wheeler can only carry one passenger. Overloading can cause loss of control and accidents.
  • Speeding and Aggressive Riding: Avoid over-speeding and aggressive riding. These actions can endanger safety and lead to severe penalties.
  • Bike Insurance Policy: Ensure your two-wheeler has a valid two-wheeler insurance policy (can be third-party bike policy or comprehensive bike policy). Riding without it is illegal and can result in harsh fines.
  • Document Carrying: Always carry your vehicle and driver-related documents. Failure to produce these documents during an inspection can result in fines.
