Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) is a flagship Centrally Sponsored Scheme launched by the Government of India in 2007 to promote the growth of agriculture and allied sectors through higher public investment. Now implemented as RKVY-RAFTAAR, the scheme supports state-specific agricultural projects, improves farm productivity, and encourages innovation, infrastructure, and sustainable farming practices.
Note- The scheme was revamped as RKVY RAFTAAR (Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation) in 2017–18, with a focus on pre- and post-harvest infrastructure, value addition, and agripreneurship development.
