What is Nanda Gaura Yojana?

Nanda Gaura scheme provides financial assistance to up to two girl children in a family.

  • The Nanda Gaura Yojana promotes girl child birth and supports higher education.
  • The funds are transferred in Direct Bank Transfer mode to facilitate easy distribution.
  • You can apply for Nanda Gaura Yojana online on the official website nandagaurauk.in.

The financial assistance in the scheme is provided in the following two stages:

  • Upon birth of a girl child: ₹11,000
  • Upon completion of class 12 of a girl: ₹51,000

Nanda Gaura Yojana Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria for the Nanda Gaura scheme is provided below:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand
  • The family income of the applicant must not be more than ₹6000 per month.
  • A maximum of two applicants from a family can apply for the scheme.
  • For the first instalment, the application must be submitted within 6 months of the birth of the child.
  • The birth should have happened in a hospital or ANM center.
  • You can apply for the 2nd installment of Nanda Gaura Yojana after the girl completes her class 12.
  • The application must be submitted within the same year the girl finished her class 12.

How to Apply for Nanda Gaura Yojana?

You can apply for Nanda Gaurja Yojana in an online mode.

If you are applying for the 2nd installment, you can do so from July to November of the year where the girl passed her class 12.

Documents Required to Apply for Nanda Gaura Yojana

The following documents are needed to complete the Nanda Gaura Yojana form:
