UAN Member Portals

Given below are some of the portals to know the PF details by the employee and the most hassle-free being the e-Sewa portal.

e-Sewa UAN Member Portal

The e-Sewa portal is a one-stop solution for all PF-related queries and services, including checking account balance, withdrawal, deposit, and employee history.

It is important to know that as per the rules by the Government of India, any organization that has more than 20 employees has to have online EPFO UAN registration.

Registration Process for E-Sewa Portal

To undergo the registration process, the following steps need to be followed:

  • Visit the website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

  • Click on the “Activate UAN” tab at the bottom right under the “Important links”

  • Enter the basic details like,

    • Member ID

    • Aadhaar card number

    • PAN card number

    • Name

    • Birth Date

    • Mobile number

    • Email ID

    • The captcha mentioned on the page

  • Click on the “Get Authorization Pin” tab

  • A PIN will be generated on your registered mobile number

  • Enter the PIN for UAN activation in the column

  • An auto-generated password will be messaged on your mobile number 

  • Once successfully logged in, change the password at your convenience

  • Your UAN is successfully registered

Check The UAN Status

Follow the simple process to know your UAN status.

  • Visit the UAN website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/

  • Click on the “Know your UAN” tab

  • Now, fill in your mobile number and the captcha mentioned on the page

  • Click on the “Request OTP” tab

  • You will be redirected to another page wherein you have to fill in your basic details like

    • Name

    • Birth Date

    • Aadhaar card number or PAN Card or Member ID (whatever submitted to the employer)

    • The captcha mentioned on the page

  • If you select the Member ID tab, then you have to provide details like,

    • Residential state

    • Personal details

    • Current office details, etc

  • Click on the “Get Authorization Pin” tab

  • An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number

  • Under the disclaimer box, enter the OTP

  • Click on the “Validate OPT and get UAN” tab

  • The status of your EPF UAN will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS

Online Services Their Claims under forms 31, 10C, and 19 Withdrawals, either partial or full, can be claimed by these forms
Their Transfers Transfers can be made from one account to another only if KYC is updated
