Process to Check the Policy Status Online

Policyholders who are comfortable with the online option for checking their policy status can use this option. For getting the policy status online, customers need to register on the official website of the company. Right after registration, the policyholder can check their policy status by entering their User ID/Login ID and a Password.

Customers can change their password if they forgot their password or if they felt that their password is not private anymore with the help of the 'Forgot Password' option. Only new customers have to register with their details. However, the existing customer can log in directly.

After logging in, the policyholder needs to enter their policy number and other relevant details for checking their IndiaFirst Policy Status. A chat box named ‘IRIS’ is also available at the corner of their web page. Customers can also ask their queries using this chat option. IRIS helps the policyholder with any detail. 

How to Check IndiaFirst Life Insurance Policy Status on Policybazaar?

The policyholders will have to follow the steps mentioned below to check their IndiaFirst Life Insurance Policy Status on Policybazaar:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Policybazaar Brokers Private Limited. On the top right, click on the ‘Sign in’ tab.

Step 2: Enter your registered phone number and the OTP received on the same. 

Step 3: You will be redirected to the dashboard. Choose the policy tab, here you can check the status of all the insurance policies you have.

How to check it Offline

Policyholders can check their policy status offline too. This option helps their customers to have direct interaction with the company. Suppose a customer chose this option for checking their policy status. In that case, they are requested to bring all the documents about the policy and their ID proofs – both original and Xerox. (Originals are only used for reference purposes. Only Xerox copies will be collected from the customer if necessary. Originals will be returned back to the customers after the verification process).

Other Modes to check the IndiaFirst Policy Status

IndiaFirst provides other options also for checking its policy status. The policyholder can check the status of their policies through alternatives like – SMS, WhatsApp, E-mail, and Sales Advisors and by post. Customers can choose any one of the options that suit them best.

  1. SMS 

    The SMS option provided by IndiaFirst is an easy one. With the SMS option's help, the customers can get details of their policy status whenever needed. There are two codes available for checking different categories. One is for getting fund value, and the other one is for getting the policy information. 

    • Fund Value SMS: FUND <Policy No> to 92444 92444.

    • Policy Information SMS: POLICY <Policy No> to 92444 92444. 

                 Customers can get their policy status by using the codes mentioned above. 

  2. WhatsApp

    Policyholders can also use the WhatsApp option provided by IndiaFirst Insurance if they find it convenient than other options. Customers can send a text to the below-mentioned WhatsApp number regarding their queries and can get the necessary details.

    This option has been introduced by the company recently for easing their customer’s needs.

  3. E-mail

    E-mail is mainly used for saving important documents and other such details. This is considered as a safe and handy option. The customer can review those stored details whenever necessary. IndiaFirst Insurance has two official mail IDs through which the customer can get their policy status.

  4. Sales Advisors

    If the customer applied a policy through a sales advisor, they could get the status of their policies through them. Sales advisors have a piece of excellent knowledge about the policy of their customers. Since they are freelance agents, they are available most of the time for helping their customer’s issues. 

  5. Post 

    Even though this mode is not vaguely used, you can still contact the company regarding your policy status through the post. The postal address is given below.

  • What is 'Do not call registry?

    A4. Customers can register in the ‘Do not call registry’ if they are not willing to get frequent calls and messages from the company. Once registered, the company stops calling the customer.

    A5. Yes. Customers can take a policy online by registering on the official website of IndiaFirst Insurance.
