A senior traffic police official attributed this surge to intensified special drives and routine checks targeting helmetless two-wheeler riders. This data emphasizes the urgent need for intensified enforcement and public awareness campaigns to address this ongoing concern in the capital city of the nation.

The top 10 traffic circles with the most traffic violations include Rohini with 5,288 violators, Model Town with 4,346 violators, Aman Vihar with 4,296 violators, and Ashok Vihar with 4,208 violators. In addition, the other areas with high violation counts are Nand Nagri with 3,915 challans, Bhajanpura with 3,889 challans, Badarpur with 3,502 challans, Narela with 3,501 challans, and Khajuri Khas with 3,220 challans.

In addition to enhanced enforcement, Delhi Traffic Police have launched extensive awareness campaigns, including roadshows, social media campaigns, education programs in schools & colleges, and collaborations with other related authorities. All these initiatives aim to improve compliance with traffic laws and promote safe driving practices. For all the two-wheeler owners or riders, adhering to traffic regulations and having an adequate two wheeler insurance online is crucial for ensuring road safety and avoiding hefty challans.
