The Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company has launched the new ‘Health Prime’ rider in its health insurance segment that offers cashless facilities for doctor consultations, teleconsultations, diagnostic investigations and preventive check-ups. The facilities can be accessed through the company’s ‘Caringly Yours’ app.

The Health Prime rider has been launched in a partnership between the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company and the Bajaj Finserv Health. As a result, the cashless facilities will be offered by 90,000 doctors across 35 medical specialities and at 2,500 laboratories of Bajaj Finserv Health.
As per the CEO of Bajaj Finserv Health, Devang Mody, the new health rider can help to address the health needs of a person without allowing him/her to worry about the resultant out-of-pocket expenses.
Further, the MD and CEO of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company, Tapan Singhel, added that the plan has been launched to provide holistic healthcare services to the people in a seamless manner with an increased focus on preventive care.
The newly launched Health Prime rider is available in multiple variants to both individuals and families. While it offers six plan variants to individuals, families can choose amongst three plan variants.
However, the plan can be purchased alongside a regular health insurance policy or a personal accident insurance policy for an additional premium. The premium price ranges from Rs 63 to Rs 1084 for individual plan variants and Rs 1146 to Rs 2348 for family floater plan variants. Moreover, existing policyholders can also buy this rider at the time of policy renewal.
Besides, the eligibility criteria and the policy tenure for the Health Prime rider will be according to the base health insurance policy.
