Remedinet Technologies, a Bangalore based technology firm, has recently launched an app for Android and Windows 8.1 platforms. The app is designed to offer information on the status of cashless health insurance claims available to hospitals and patients.
This Microsoft Visual Studio based app offers status on claims instantly. The company has designed two apps- one for the patients and the other for hospitals and insurers for hassle-free transactions. Remedinet – Hospital mobile app allows hospitals and insurance companies to access information on claims adjudication. Similarly, it allows patients to check their insurance claims status.
Both the applications run smoothly on Smart devices, including tablets, PC/Laptop, and Smartphones. The iOS version of Remedinet’s apps will be available soon.
At the launch, Mr.Munish Daga, CEO, Remedinet Technologies said, “The advance Internet technologies has made information easily accessible across computing devices. And we have made a sincere effort to introduce the technology benefits to patients and hospitals with the apps that monitor cashless claims status on the handheld devices. We aim to make the claims process speedy, efficient, and smooth. A robust technology backbone is the key to transparent and competent transactions, and the Windows 8.1 platform and Microsoft’s solutions have allowed us to create customer-friendly, future-ready and efficient apps for hassle-free claim settlement processing.”
Remedinet – Hospital App permits hospital staff with a valid user ID to monitor information log on claims status from any location, at any time. Subsequently, it eliminates needs to present at the desk throughout the day. They can easily access the patient’s record and claims history and status from any department or building, any time.
Remedinet – Consumer App allows patients to access the latest status of their cashless claims at kiosks installed in hospitals. Users can access the information by feeding the reference number of the claim or by entering the patient’s name. This convenient app eliminates the need to wait in long queues to seek information, or the need to approach the claims office or customer service department. With this user-friendly app, people can obtain information on their handheld devices in a jiffy.
Mr. Vineet Durani, Director (Windows Business Group), Microsoft India said, “India is witnessing a critical and massive need to leverage technology for optimally supporting the Indian healthcare system, and we feel delighted to serve this critical need, with the launch of Remedinet apps on Windows 8.1 platform.
