      It is also stated that females suffer less issues of hair loss but they are also a big contributor to this scenario. Generally, people in our country had accepted ‘baldness’ since a very long time as they thought it was a general genetic phenomenon. It was common after a particular age. But, the time has changed now and people have gotten more serious about these issues and tend to focus on how they appear and how their personality looks.

      Hair loss or loss of hair has been clinically termed as Alopecia. Baldness if also a result due of excess of hair falls. For people still in their early age, baldness has turn out to be a horrible nightmare for both males & females. The ones who care or are very conscious about their perfect appearances are the ones who are more bothered with such issue. One other question that disturbs them is does hair fall cover in a health insurance?

      This is a myth or misconception that many people have. People have misunderstanding that hair transplant is covered under the health insurance plan. There is no such thing as hair-loss insurance. No health insurance company or organization has any kind of procedure for Alopecia. Any expense or treatment costs incurred for hair treatment is to be borne by the person him/herself.

      Any type of hair loss does not get a health insurance cover. Hair fall occurs because of many reasons. The best method for a hair loss is the grafting method. The reasons for hair fall can be as given below;

      • Lack of nourishment
      • Usage of hair cosmetics
      • Medication for a long period
      • Inappropriate care of hair
      • Genetic hair fall
      • Incorrect shampooing or brushing of hair.

      Hair Transplant Is Costly

      The cost of a hair transplant is calculated easily in India. It is done by calculating of the grafting method which is used in India. Each graft comprises 1 to 3 hair follicles. The cost in India comes between Rs. 25-45 per graft. So, basically it all depends on the number of grafts that are being transplanted. Usually, the transplantation ranges from about 600 grafts to 4600 grafts which depend on the amount of hair loss. The charges of grafting can go high also as it does not get covered under health insurance.

      Hair Fall Treatment

      The hair fall treatment is not cheap and it can cost from around thousands to lakhs. If your looks are that you cannot compromise on then, this is the only way to get your hair loss problem rectified. It does hit you financially but it is because it does not get covered under health insurance.

      As described previously, there is no such thing as a hair loss health insurance, still there is another way of getting a hair loss treatment in a much easy way.

      Hair-fall treatment can be easily made affordable via easy EMIs. There are banks that offer credit cards and you can make easy EMI which is a preferred option of a lot of people who want to take hair fall treatment. This is also because of the absence of any kind of hair loss cover under the health insurance policy.

      Easy EMI For Hair Transplant

      The bank payments can be also made by opting for a consumer loan from any respective bank that you have an account in. There might be a possibility of having some partner hospitals or clinics which give you the option of hidden charges as well. The tenure of the payments can be from 3/6/9/12/24/36 months based on your choice. This option is a considerable substitute for your hair treatments.
