Multiple Sum Insured Options

However, some people may need to undergo a health check-up to buy or renew Joy or Enhance plan. Under the Joy plan, insured aged 46 years and above will need to undergo a pre-policy check-up to renew the plan. Similarly, applicants of Enhance plan above 50 years of age who have opted for a coverage of Rs 40 lakh or more will have to appear for a medical check-up to buy the plan.

Pre & Post Hospitalization Expenses

All Care Health Insurance plans provide coverage for pre-hospitalization as well as post-hospitalization expenses. Pre-hospitalization expenses refer to the medical expenses incurred before getting admitted to the hospital, such as diagnostic tests. On the other hand, post-hospitalization expenses are the medical expenses incurred after getting discharged from the hospital, such as follow-up consultation. Care Insurance plans covers pre-hospitalization expenses for up to 30 days before hospital admission and post-hospitalization for up to 60 days after getting discharged from the hospital.
