Each health product targets a different set of consumers, ensuring monetary coverage for a wide range of health issues. The new health insurance plans from Tata AIG General Insurance are comprehensive offerings with set of features that make them unique from a gamut of existing health insurance products available currently.
MediPlus Health Insurance
MediPlus is a top-up health insurance policy that is designed to enhance effectiveness of current insurance with the aid of a higher coverage at considerably affordable premium. Amid recent financial crunch situation and rising healthcare costs, this health insurance plan provides extensive health protection, supplementing the primary insurance coverage for you and your family.
Key features of MediPlus health insurance plan are Pre and post hospitalization medical expenses upto 60 days immediately before hospitalization and up to 90 days immediately post discharge; In-patient hospitalization; Domiciliary treatment; Daycare procedures; emergency ambulance; hassle-free and faster claim settlements; and lifelong renewal. Consumers can also enjoy tax benefits under section 80D of Income Tax Act 1961.
Entry age for MediPlus health insurance is 18 years to 65 years.
MediSenior Health Insurance
MediSenior is exclusive health insurance coverage for senior citizens for consumers above 60 years of age. Health becomes a major concern with growing age. Unfortunately, as a person retires, steady source of income stops, and it becomes difficult to pay for ever-rising medical expenses. MediSenior is a comprehensive health insurance policy, designed for senior citizens that help in focusing on good health without worrying about finances.
MediSenior health insurance policy comes with a range of unique features that include In-patient hospitalization such as ICU, room rent, medicines and drugs, consumables, and nursing; Pre-and-post hospitalization expenses up to 30 days immediately before hospitalization and upto 60 days immediately after discharge; day care procedures, organ donor; domiciliary treatment; emergency ambulance; and a strong network of more than 3000 hospitals across India.
Consumers can also enjoy waiver of deductibles that allows them to migrate to “general insurer’s full-fledged indemnity-based health insurance plan” in the private sector. Tax deduction benefits are also available under section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
MediRaksha Health Insurance
An affordable health insurance policy, MediRaksha from Tata AIG General Insurance provides extensive coverage during medical emergency and rising healthcare costs that you might not have predicted before. It is an open, comprehensive, basic health insurance plan that covers illnesses and emergencies, surgical treatments, and hospitalization. The health plan includes In-patient treatment; Pre and Post Hospitalization; Day care procedures; Health checkup; Lifelong renewal; Organ donor expenses; and hassle-free settlement of claims.
With MediRaksha policy, consumers can enjoy cashless facility across a strong network of 3000+ hospitals in India. Additionally, a family discount of 10% is available if two or more family members are covered under the same plan on individual sum insured basis. Moreover, there is no medical on enrollment up to 55 years. Tax benefits under section 80D of the Income Tax Act 1961 are also available with MediRaksha health insurance plan.
