Apollo Hospital Admission Process
Every branch of Apollo Hospital across the country ensures smooth and hassle-free admission process. When it comes to getting admission in the hospital, an online admission form is required to be filled by the patient or the attendant. Once the form is completed and submitted, an UHID (Unique Hospital Identification) card will be issued by the hospital authority. With this UHID id the patient can consult the doctor. If the doctor suggests to get admitted for proper treatment, then the admission form needs to be filled at the help desk. The information provided should be true. In case of an emergency, the patient will be admitted to the emergency unit first and shifted to the floor room later once the condition of the patient turns to normal.
* Patients availing treatment under health insurance should have to provide the required health card or cashless approval letter from the insurance provider.
Apollo Hospital Discharge Process
Once the treatment is over and the patient starts recovering, the hospital consultant will brief about the discharge process. Discharge process is initiated only after getting permission from the treating doctors. The discharge steps will be briefed either by the nurse or the consultant at help desk. The outstanding bills are to be paid before leaving the hospital. If it is under a health insurance policy, the insurer will directly settle the bill. Apollo opens its services post-discharge as well. The patients can contact their doctors regarding health-related advice.
