      What is a Single-Disease Cover Plan?

      A single-disease cover plan offers comprehensive coverage for a specific disease and serves as an add-on cover for regular health insurance policies. Single disease cover plans are uncomplicated products, where the customer has to pay a single premium without any complex underwriting. These plans do not require any tests. All one needs to do is fill up a form and a self-declaration of not having any pre-existing diseases.

      Dengue Care Health Insurance Plan

      Apollo Munich’s Dengue Care health insurance plan is one such single-cover plan that exclusively covers you for both inpatient and outpatient treatment.Under this plan, you can add a maximum of 6 members in a single policy. It is the only plan in India that covers an infectious disease.

      Salient Features and Benefits of the Plan Include:

      • Comprehensive in-patient hospitalization cover with no sub limits/co-payment
      • Rs. 50,000 cover for treatment at a premium of Rs 1.2 per day.
      • Coverage even for non-medical expenses incurred during hospitalization in case of shared accommodation.
      • An option to upgrade the cover to Rs 1 lakh for Rs. 659 annually

The policy will cover all costs associated with diagnosis and treatment of cancer, including hospitalization, radiation, chemotherapy and surgery, among others. Under this plan, you can avail free diagnosis tests once in 2 years, starting from the second year of the policy.

      Salient Features and Benefits of the Plan Include:

      • Free cancer screening through medical tests during the policy term
      • Cover up to Rs. 10 Lakh against cancer, for a premium of Rs. 300 per month
      • In case advanced cancer is detected, future premiums will be waived off
      • Cash payouts at various stages for diagnosis, treatment and surgery
