    Features and Benefits of ICICI Lombard Critical Illness Policy

    • Comprehensive Cover- The policy offers critical illness cover upon diagnosis of any of the listed 9 critical illnesses, Personal accident, and Permanent total disability (PTD) Cover.
    • Eligibility Criteria- Aged between 20-45 years of age
    • Choice of Sum Insured/Coverage – You can select  between Rs. 3 lakh, 6 lakh, or Rs. 12 Lakh sum insured
    • Policy duration - 1, 3, or 5 years
    • No health check-up is required
    • Avail tax benefit under section 80D of Income Tax Act.
    • No 30 day survival period, the benefit is paid immediately on the diagnosis

    ICICI Lombard Critical Care policy covers permanent and total loss of limbs, sight, etc. after an accident. The compensation is given as a lump sum benefit if the disability results in loss of employment.

    Critical Illness List

    The ICICI Lombard critical illness plan shall cover, subsequent to 90 days from the policy commencement, the following major medical illnesses and procedures as given below:

    • Major Organ Transplant
    • Cancer
    • Multiple Sclerosis
    • Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack)
    • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery
    • Paralysis
    • Kidney Failure
    • Stroke
    • Heart Valve Replacement Surgery

    If the policyholder is diagnosed with any of the above-listed critical illnesses, then the policyholder is entitled to the entire lump sum benefit of the Sum Insured opted for.

    ICICI Lombard Complete iHealth Plan with Critical Illness Add-on Cover

    In this comprehensive ICICI Lombard health insurance policy you can avail of critical illness cover as an add-on benefit.  The sum insured limit in this policy is Rs 2 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. The coverage is provided for all the critical illnesses mentioned above.

    You can also opt for hospital daily cash cover, convalescence benefits, and coverage for critical illnesses. The sum insured ranges from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. It provides maternity cover, new-born baby cover, Ayush cover, COVID hospitalization cover, and outpatient treatment cover. The plan also includes wellness programs and preventive healthcare programs.
