    Key Features of Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani Policy

    The features and benefits of the Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani Policy are given below:

    • Anyone in the age group of 91 days to 65 years can be insured under this health insurance health plan
    • Children between 91 days and 25 years can be covered if either of the parent is also covered
    • The coverage is provided to the self, spouse, children, parents, and in-laws
    • The policy durations is 1 year and can be renewed thereafter

    Inclusions of Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani Policy

    The inclusions and the coverage benefits under the Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani Policy are given below:

    • The insurer pays for hospital room rent charges, Boarding charges, pre and post hospitalization expenses for 30 days and 60 days respectively
    • ICU and ICCU expenses can be claimed and the maximum limit is 5% of the sum insured per day and up to a maximum of Rs.10,000
    • The fees charged by the Surgeon, Doctor, Surgeon, Consultants is paid directly to the hospital.
    • Cataract treatment expenses are covered subjected to sub limits i.e. 25% of the sum insured or up to Rs 40,000
    • Plastic surgery/Dental treatment expenses required in case of disease or injury
    • All the day care expenses are payable under this policy
    • Road ambulance charges are covered up to Rs 2000 for each hospitalization
    • The policyholder can claim for Ayush treatment expenses incurred on homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Naturopathy treatment

    The following daycare treatments or in-patient treatments are covered up to 50% of Sum Insured. The list is given below:

    • Balloon Sinuplasty
    • Vaporization of the prostrate
    • Uterine Artery Embolization and HIFU
    • Deep Brain stimulation  
    • Oral chemotherapy
    • Immunotherapy
    • Stereotactic radio surgeries
    • Robotic surgeries
    • ION M - (Intra Operative Neuro Monitoring)
    • lntra vitreal injections
    • Bronchial Thermoplasty
    • Stem cell therapy

    Exclusions of Bharti AXA Arogya Sanjeevani Policy

    The list of exclusions for which you cannot file a claim are given below:

    • Any pre-existing before the completion of the waiting period of 48-months shall not be covered
    • Any illness that has occurred during the initial 30 days of the policy commencement
    • Rest Cure, rehabilitation and respite care are excluded
    • Cosmetic or plastic surgeries are not covered under this Arogya Sanjeevani policy
    • Obesity/weight control treatment is excluded as well

    Yes, the policy covers oral chemotherapy expenses and other modern treatments as well.
