      ZUNO Health Gold Plan covers various life-threatening diseases such as cancer for in-patient, pre and post-hospitalization costs. It also covers the expenses of domiciliary treatment and daycare services. With a comprehensive cover up to Rs 2 lakh, the policy covers medical referral, medical repatriation, medical evacuation, monitoring etc.

      Coverage Offered

      The coverage offered by ZUNO Health Gold Policy are as mentioned below:

      • Hospitalization Expenses: Under the Gold variant, hospitalization expenses up to the sum insured will be covered.
      • Room Rent Limit: The plan pays for daily room rent per day for a single standard private room. Under the ZUNO Health Gold Plan, there is no limit on room rent.
      • ICU Charges: If the policyholder needs to be admitted to the ICU on the medical practitioner's advice, the policy covers the ICU charges. There is no limit for ICU charges under this plan.
      • Pre-hospitalization: The plan covers the policyholder's treatment charges before admission to the hospital up to 60 days up to the sum insured amount.
      • Post-hospitalization: The policy covers the policyholder's treatment charges after admission to the hospital up to 90 days up to the sum insured amount.

      Inclusion of the ZUNO Health Gold Plan 

      The inclusions of the online ZUNO Health Gold Plan are:

      • Day Care: If the person insured is required to be hospitalized for less than 24 hours to treat some diseases, then the ZUNO Health Gold Plan provides coverage against such expenses up to the sum insured limit.
      • Ambulance Cover: If the policyholder needs to be hospitalized immediately, the plan covers up to Rs 3000 as an ambulance cover per hospitalization.
      • Organ Donor Cover: Organ donation expenses are covered in the plan up to Rs 1 lakh.
      • Domiciliary Hospitalization: The plan covers the cost of domiciliary hospitalization up to the sum insured limit.
      • AYUSH Cover: This plan covers non-allopathic treatment like Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, and other alternative therapies maximum up to sum insured.

      Exclusions of the ZUNO Health Gold Plan 

      The exclusions of ZUNO Health Gold Insurance Policy are:

      • Suicide
      • Cosmetic Surgery
      • Childbirth
      • Participation in dangerous activities
      • Out-patient department
      • Hospitalization due to substance abuse

      Features and Benefits of the ZUNO Health Gold Plan

      The features and benefits of ZUNO Health Gold Health Insurance policy are:

      • Cumulative Bonus: If the policyholder does not claim in a particular policy year, then he/she is entitled to get a no claim bonus in that policy year. The sum insured increases by 50% and maximum up to 100% for that year. If a claim is made in a particular year, the no claim bonus reduces by 50% and maximum up to 100%.
      • Health Check-Up: Apart from the no claim bonus, for policyholders above 18 years of age, there is also a free health check-up for every no-claim year.
      • Maternity Benefit- Under this plan, the person insured also gets a maternity benefit from ZUNO Health Insurance up to Rs 50,000 after a waiting period of 4 years,
      • Recovery Benefit: From the hospitalization day, the policyholder gets Rs 1000 per day from the 11th day of hospitalization till the 20th day as a recovery benefit.
      • Shared Accommodation: If the policyholder shares a room in a hospital, he/she gets Rs 1000 per day for the shared accommodation maximum up to Rs 5000 per day.
      • Critical Illness Coverage: On detecting the critical illness, the sum assured amount increases by 50% from the first time the person insured is diagnosed with a critical disease.
      • Restoration Benefit: On using the sum insured amount, ZUNO Health Insurance restores the sum insured amount up to the maximum limit.

      Eligibility Criteria of the ZUNO Health Gold Plan 

      To buy this policy the following conditions have to be fulfilled:

      Number of people covered

      The plan covers up to 8 individuals who can be related to the policyholder in an insurable way.

      Residential Status

      A resident of India either as a citizen or a pass holder, or a permanent resident of India


      Cancellation Terms of the Policy 

       If the policyholder is not satisfied with the terms and conditions of the policy, he/she can return the policy 15 days from the date of commencement of the policy, and the premiums paid will be returned to the policyholder after deducting stamp charges.
