Do I Need a Hard Copy of the HDFC Bike Insurance Policy?

According to the Motor Vehicle Act of 1988, all two-wheeler owners must have mandatory third-party bike insurance and carry a copy of it while riding their two-wheeler. However, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has launched a new application called e-Vahan Bima to digitalize the two-wheeler insurance policy, which further prevents the necessity of carrying a policy. In this application, the policy is available in digitized form with a QR code containing all its details.

In case you need further assistance in obtaining the policy online, you can connect with our two-wheeler insurance expert at Policybazaar.com at 1800-708-8787 or email us atcare@policybazaar.com
