      Is It Possible to Reduce the ICICI Lombard Health Insurance Waiting Period?

      Yes. The ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company allows policyholders to reduce their pre-existing disease waiting period from 3 years to 2 years or 1 year under Elevate, Activate Booster, and Max Protect plans. Similarly, they can reduce the maternity waiting period, specified illness waiting period and worldwide cover waiting period from 2 years to 1 year under Elevate and Activate Booster plans.

      Moreover, policyholders can reduce the waiting period for pre-existing coronary artery disease, asthma, obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidaemia and hypertension to 30 days with the JumpStart benefit available under Elevate and Activate Booster plans. However, sthese benefits can be purchased on the payment of an additional premium amount.

      *₹390/month (₹13 per day) is starting price for 1 cr. Health insurance for 25 years old male, with pre-existing diseases, residing from tier 1 city rounded off to the nearest 10.
