      Coverage Offered

      The Liberty Health Connect Supra Health Insurance is offered in 2 variants – The Top-up Option and the Super Top-Up Option. The basic difference between the two is that the enhanced Sum Insured is calculated over the specified deductible applied on a per case basis in the former, while in the latter, it is applied on an aggregate per policy year. Other basic coverage is:

      • In-patient Hospitalization: The cover is for the cost of treatment for at least 24 hours of hospital stay.
      • Pre and Post Hospitalization: Medical expenses incurred for 30/60 days till admission in a hospital and 60/90 days from the discharge date, depending on the variant selected.
      • Day Care Treatment: The cost of 405 listed procedures in a hospital with a stay lower than 24 hours is indemnified.  
      • Preventive Care: The insurer provides assistance to prevent adverse health conditions.

      Inclusions of the Liberty Health Connect Supra Plan

      The decision to buy Liberty Health Insurance and choose the right available options is largely influenced by the policy's range of inclusions.

      • Deductibles:
      • Top Up: Rs 2 lakh -5 lakhs (Plan II) & Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (Plan III)
      • Super Top Up: Rs 2 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (Plan I) & Rs 10 lakh– Rs 40 lakh (Plan II).
      • Optional Cover:
      • The insured can seek AYUSH treatment up to a cover for the Sum Insured.
      • Worldwide cover for medical emergencies is available as an add-on.
      • Reload of the Sum Insured when it gets exhausted.
      • Wellness Assistance Program is either serviced by the insurer or a service provider.

      Exclusions of the Policy

      The Insured needs to be aware of all the exclusions to raise claims with confidence. The list below is indicative, and the Insured must consult the policy wordings for clarity.

      • Waiting Period:
      • The first 30 days for the cover to set in is applicable in India only.
      • Two years for specified illnesses claim to be also accepted and applicable in India only.
      • Three years are applicable for both India and overseas for the coverage of pre-existing diseases.
      • Permanent Exclusions:  The list is elaborate and similar to exclusions applicable across all the Liberty Health Insurance policies. The Insured must refer to the prospectus or the policy wordings for the full list.

      Liberty Health Connect Supra: Features & Benefits

      • The Liberty Health Connect Supra Policy relieves the Insured of financial stress as there is no capping or sub-limit for the room rent as well as co-payment in the claim settlement.
      • The policy tenure is 1, 2, or 3 years.
      • The Insured gets cashless benefits in 4300+ network hospitals.
      • Loyalty Perk is given to the Insured by an auto increase of the Sum Insured by 10% for every claim-free policy year, subject to a maximum of 100% Sum Insured amount, and continuous coverage without any break, for Super Top-Up plan.
      • There is no pre-policy health check-up if there is no history of medical adversity, up to the age 65 years.
      • Claims Settlement mechanism is fast and hassles- free.  
      • Worldwide coverage is ensured from day one as an add-on, covering all medical emergencies except pre-existing diseases.
      • Tax exemption is allowed for the premium under Sec80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

      Eligibility Criteria

      The insurer requires the applicant to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to buy this policy:

      Minimum Entry Age

      Adult: 18 years

      Children: 91 days

       

      Cover for children requires either parent to be covered in the policy.

      Maximum Entry Age

      Adult: 65 years

      Lifelong renewal

      Number of people covered

      Individual: Self, spouse, children, parents and parents-in-law

      Family Floater: Self, spouse,  max up to 3 dependent children

      Residential Status

      Residents of India, including citizens and permanent residents
