SBI Life Insurance Company offers a quick SMS Service through which a policyholder can receive all the relevant information and policy updates instantly. To avail of this service, you need to send the relevant SMS code to 56161 or 9250001848 from your registered mobile number. To check the status of your policy, type POLSTATUS {space} ‘Policy Number’ and send it to 56161 or 9250001848.
Below are the SMS Codes for different queries:
Enter NEWPOL followed by the space "Policy Number" to learn more about your policy's dispatch information.
Send RENDET 'Policy Number' to get information about premiums.
Type FV space> 'Policy Number' and send to get the most recent policy or fund value.
Type SWTR 'Policy Number' in the space after it and hit submit to acquire details about Fund Switch Transaction.
Type MYEMAIL 'Policy Number' 'Space' New Email id 'Space' and send to register or amend your email address.
Enter PAN 'Policy Number' and 'PAN number'space' and send to update your PAN number.
** These services will incur normal SMS charges as applicable by your network provider.
Request a Call Back
A policyholder can request a call back from an SBI Life customer care executive to get answers to their queries. To avail of this option, you need to click the ‘Request A Call Back’ call to action button and fill up a form with all required details such as your name, email address, type of query, and contact details, and then submit the form. Once done, the customer care executives will call you to help you out.
Online Chat:
One can chat with the customer care executives online. For this, you have to find the Online Chat option on the Contact Us page of the official website of SBI Life. The link will then direct you to a page where you can fill in the required details and submit your request.
After this, you can chat with a customer care executive and share and resolve your concerns.
Missed Call Service
The company also offers Missed Call Services wherein the policyholders can get their Premium Paid Certificate by giving missed calls on 022-27599904.
