    Liberty Health Top-up & Super Top-up Plans

    Liberty Health Top-up and Super Top-up products are designed to enhance the base sum insured to enable the policyholder to pay off huge hospitalization expenses that may require more than the coverage amount.

    For instance, if you have a Liberty Health top-up plan of Rs 20 lakh, a deductible limit of Rs 2 lakh, and the hospital bill is Rs 15 lakh then the insurance company will pay off the amount over and above Rs 3 lakh i.e. Rs 13 lakh.

    Liberty Health Connect Supra Top-up Plan

    Liberty Health Connect Supra top-up plan enhances the Sum Insured at an affordable cost. The policyholder has the benefit of receiving the Sum insured up to Rs 20 lakh. The Top-up plans come in three variants: Plan 1, Plan 2, and Plan 3 for individuals and families. The Sum Insured is calculated on the basis of every claim made along with the deductible specified.

    Liberty Health Connect Super Top-up plan increases the Sum insured receivable up to Rs1 Crore. The super top-up plan also comes in three variants as Plan 1, Plan 2, and Plan 3 for individuals and families. The sum insured is calculated based on an aggregate for every policy year basis along with the deductible specified.

    Inclusions of Liberty Top-up and Super Top-up Health Plans

    Liberty Supra Connect Top-up and Super Top-up plans cover the following medical expenses during the policy term:

    • Liberty Super Top-up and the top-up policy covers the in-patient hospitalization expenses such as room, boarding, ICU expenses, doctor’s fees, and nursing expenses
    • The policy also compensates the expenses incurred on prescribed drugs and medicines during the hospitalization
    • The insurer also pays for the cost of prosthetics and other devices used during a surgical procedure
    • 405 day care procedures are also payable under this health insurance plan
    • The expenses incurred on investigation services such as laboratory, X-Ray, and diagnostic tests are also covered
    • Pre and post hospitalization expenses are covered as well
    • The policy also offers additional coverage benefits such as  worldwide coverage, Ayush treatment, Reload of Sum Insured when it gets exhausted, and Wellness & Assistance Program

    Exclusions of Liberty Top-up and Super Top-up Health Insurance Plans

    Liberty Supra Connect Top-up and Super Top-up plans do not cover expenses related to:

    • Pregnancy such as miscarriage, voluntary termination and complications related to childbirth
    • Treatments related to birth control procedures such as sterility, fertility and complications related to Assisted Reproductive Technology
    • Sexually transmitted diseases such as Genital Warts, Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, etc.
    • Dental treatment and surgery
    • Self-medication practices
    • Treatments related to the cost of spectacles, contact lenses, laser treatment for eyesight corrections are out of the scope of the policy
    • Weight management services and treatments related to obesity and overweight
    • Medical expenses arising out of mental illness and stress are also excluded
