Coverage Offered 

The Reliance Health Infinity Insurance offers coverage options from 3 lakh up to 1 crore. One can buy Reliance health Insurance with an Individual plan or a Family Floater basis. The following benefits can be availed under the Reliance Health Infinity plan:

  • Inpatient Care- The plan covers all medical expenses for any accident or illness, including mental illnesses. The medical expenses include room rent, ICU costs, or any other medical treatment charges.
  • Day Care Procedures- Medical procedures that do not require a 24-hour admission to the hospital, a daycare option is provided at the hospital.
  • Domiciliary Hospitalization- The plan covers medical expenses incurred during a home treatment that exceeds 3 consecutive days.
  • Organ Donor- In case of an organ transplant is required, all expenses of the Organ Donor are covered.
  • AYUSH Benefit- Medical expenses incurred during an Ayurvedic treatment, such as Homeopathy or Siddha, are covered.
  • Pre-hospitalization Medical Expenses- The plan covers medical expenses incurred up to 90 days before hospitalization.
  • Post-hospitalization Medical Expenses- The plan covers medical expenses incurred up to 180-days post-hospitalization.
  • Transportation Benefit- Expenses up to Rs 500 are covered for using registered radio cab service for transfer to and from the hospital.
  • Restore Benefit- If the claims made within a policy year have exhausted the sum insured, then a restoration benefit is covered up to 100% and can be claimed for illnesses that haven't been claimed before.

 Additional benefits that the Reliance Health Infinity plan offers are as follows:

  • Special Treatments- Special treatments like Robotic surgeries, Stem cell therapy, and eyesight corrections are covered with a co-payment of 50% of medical expenses.
  • Emergency Ambulance- An emergency ambulance is provided to transport from one hospital to another without any sub limit.
  • 'More' feature- Options to enhance sum insured, more extended coverage, and emergency daycare and hospitalization can be availed under MoreCover, MoreTime, and MoreGlobal covers. One feature can be availed of with the policy; other two can be availed of by paying an extra premium payment.

Exclusions of the Policy

 The following benefits are excluded from the Reliance Health Infinity Health Insurance plan:

  • Medical expenses during the waiting period
  • Medical expenses for rehabilitation care
  • Any obesity-related or Sleep Apnea medical procedure
  • Gender change & Cosmetic surgery
  • Medical expenses incurred due to injuries from any sports activity
  • Treatment expenses due to breach of law
  • Treatment expenses incurred at any hospital not covered under the policy
  • Treatment for alcoholism and drug abuse
  • Wellness or Rejuvenation related expenses
  • Dietary supplements that are not prescribed by doctors
  • Eye correction, dental treatments, & HRT
  • Treatments without medical documentation or prescriptions
  • Medical treatments for fertility, sterility, or birth control
  • Medical expenses for Maternity & Alternative treatment expenses
  • Circumcision
  • Medical expenses and treatment for STDs

Cancellation Terms of the Policy

 Refer below information on the refund policy of Reliance Health Infinity Health Insurance:

  • If a policy is canceled within 90 days, a 100 % refund will be provided.
  • If canceled after 90 days, the amount refunded will be on a pro-rata basis.

The insurer can also cancel the contract if the policyholder indulges in fraud or misrepresentation, or concealment of essential medical information.
