Cholamandalam Hospital Cash Healthline Plan

This is a supplementary insurance policy which coversfor medical and non-medical expenses like patient's diet, transportation expenses, hospital stay of a member with patient etc. It also offers a lump sum or daily allowance which can be used during hospitalization.

Eligibility:

  • For Self / Spouse- Minimum- 18 years, maximum- 65 years. No medical check-up required up to 55 years.
  • Dependent Child- Minimum age-3 months, maximum- 36 years. No medical check-up required.

Policy Details:

  • 30 days grace period for renewal.
  • Cashless claims and reimbursements through a dedicated claims team.
  • Daily Cash benefit: A daily cash amount is borne for each continuous/completed period of 24 hour of hospitalization.
  • 10% family discount on premium.

  • Hospital Confinement Cash Benefit
  • Double confinement benefit –for ICU hospitalization
  • Convalescence Benefit - Lump sum payment for hospitalization above 20 days
  • Family Discount of 5% on the total premium for every additional member insured.

  • Expenses incurred during first 30 days of commencement of policyif this is the first individual policy.
  • Cases of Self-inflicted injury, suicide, act of terrorism or war/riots etc.
  • Pre-existing diseases as mentioned will be excluded for a period of 1 / 2 years as applicable.
