    Reliance Hospital Cash Policy Overview

    Reliance Hospi Care policy provides a lump sum cash benefit for each day of hospitalization. The daily hospital cash benefit amount is doubled if the insured is admitted to the ICU or the Intensive Care Unit. It provides a daily hospital cash benefit for over 150 surgical procedures and over 140 day care procedures. It also provides a lump sum amount for other surgeries that are not part of the covered list. Moreover, the policy also provides a lump sum amount to cover hospitalization due to dengue, malaria or chikungunya.

    The Reliance Hospital Cash policy comes with hospital cash amount ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs 4000 per day. The number of hospital cash days available under the policy is 60 days. Besides, the policy also offers sum insured ranging from Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 10,00,000 for surgical procedures.

    However, the Reliance Hospi Care policy comes with a deductible of one day if the insured is hospitalized for less than 7 days.

    The Reliance Hospi Care policy comes with the following key features and benefits:

    • It offers a hospital cash benefit for up to Rs 4000 per day.
    • It provides double benefit cover if the insured is admitted to the ICU.
    • It offers daily cash benefit for more than 150 surgeries and 140 day care procedures.
    • It provides a lump sum benefit in case of hospitalization due to dengue, malaria and chikungunya.
    • It provides tax benefits available under section 80D of the Income Tax Act

    Inclusions of Reliance Hospital Cash Policy

    The Reliance Health Insurance covers the following under Hospi Care policy:

    • Surgical Procedure Cash - Offers coverage for surgical procedures up to Rs 10,00,000 during hospitalization due to an accidental injury or illness
    • Hospital Daily Cash - Offers a daily hospital cash benefit up to Rs 4000 during hospitalization
    • ICU Cash Benefit - Offers twice the daily hospital cash amount for a maximum of 15 days if admitted to the ICU
    • Day Care Treatment Cash - Offers a lump sum cash benefit of up to Rs 50,000 in case of day care procedures
    • Other Surgeries Cash - Offers a lump sum benefit of up to Rs 20,000 in case of non-listed surgical procedures
    • Hospitalization due to Dengue/ Malaria/Chikungunya - Offers a lump sum amount of Rs 20,000 if hospitalized due to dengue, malaria or chikungunya

    Exclusions of Reliance Hospital Cash Policy

    Any of the below-mentioned medical expenses will not be covered by Reliance Hospi Care policy:

    • Non-allopathic treatments
    • Pregnancy and related procedures
    • Treatment due to use of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants
    • Intentional self-injury or attempted suicide
    • Outpatient treatment
    • Treatment taken outside India
    • Injuries due to participation in adventure sports
    • Cosmetic or plastic surgery
    • Dental treatment
    • Obesity treatments
