Braking & Handling:
Superlow is a heavy bike at 267Kg wet weight. However, due to low centre of gravity on the bike it feels 30-40 kgs less. It cuts through traffic nicely & is surprisingly stable on highways considering there is no wind protection. Being an air cooled engine however, there is a lot of heat especially in the Indian summer. Bike has telescopic forks in the front & Dual shock absorbers at the rear. It rides on 120/70 18’ front & 150/60 17’ rear wheels.
- The seating position on HD750 is low with a slight reach to the handlebars.
- It is well proportionate for riders of low to medium height.
- Superlow gets a single 300mm disc brake in front & a single disc at the rear.
- The bike sadly misses out on ABS.
What Insurance cover to opt for:
Superlow is an all American cruiser brought in India via CKD route. So all the parts have to be imported & the repair bill runs high. It is important to have an insurance cover which can get you through costly repairs in case of a crash as well as in the unfortunate case of theft.
- A premium product like Superlow needs 0% depreciation insurance as it goes a long way in keeping the repair bills down in case of a fall.
- It is a good idea to have an insurance that gives you complete cover from theft as a premium is a thief magnet.
- Always prefer an insurance that gives you cashless benefit.
