Benefits of Buying 2 Cr Health Insurance for NRI

NRIs can avail the following benefits by buying a 2 Cr health insurance plan:

      1. Beat Medical Inflation

Medical inflation has led to a hike in the cost of various medical treatments in India. If an NRI needs to undergo major surgery, then it will easily cost him lakhs of rupees. With a 2 Cr health insurance policy, the medical expenses incurred on such surgeries and medical procedures will be taken care of by the insurance company.

      2. Sufficient Coverage for Critical Illness

Critical illnesses are lifestyle diseases that require long-term treatments and hence, are expensive to treat. A health policy with a lower sum insured will not be sufficient to cover the treatment of such diseases. Therefore, NRIs can ensure coverage for medical expenses incurred on the treatment of a critical illness by buying a 2 Cr health insurance policy.

      3. Extensive Coverage for Large Families

Large families comprising of elderly people are likely to raise more claims than a small nuclear family. In such cases, health plans with a lower sum insured will not be sufficient to cover the medical expenses of a large NRI family. But if the NRI purchases a 2 Cr health insurance policy, the medical expenses of large families will be covered without any hassles.
