Key Features of Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Policy:

  • Pre-acceptance medical tests are not required for all proposers up to the age of 45 years irrespective of the sums insured.
  • All pre-acceptance medical tests will have to be done in Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited empanelled diagnostic centers only. The reports would be valid for a period of 30 days from the test date.
  • Provides In-house Cashless settlement.
  • Lifelong renewal of policy.

Benefits of Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Plan:

  • Pre and post hospitalization expenses incurred from 60 days prior up to 90 days after hospitalization will be covered.
  • Ambulance charges up to Rs.1500 will be reimbursed.
  • Pre-existing disease will be covered after four years of consecutive renewal.
  • Free Medical check-up in the company’s empanelled diagnostic centers after every four claims free years.
  • Patient care expenses up to a maximum of Rs.350 per day for persons above 60 yrs.
  • Accompanying person expenses up to Rs.500 per day.
  • Additional accidental hospitalization limit enhanced by 25% of balance sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs.1 lakh.
  • 50000/- Sum Insured would be available for dependent children only.
  • Porting of similar health policy to Future Health Suraksha as per portability guidelines.

Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Policy Details:

Sum Insured: Maximum: 10 Lakhs

  • Maximum sum insured is 5 lacs for entry above age of 55 years.

No Claim Bonus: Cumulative bonus of 10% on the basic sum insured will be provided up to a maximum of 50% of the sum insured.

Coverage type: Individual

Grace period: Grace Period of 30 days for renewing the policy is provided under this policy.

Renewal Policies: The policy if renewed continuously without any break will be renewed lifelong.

Policy termination: You may cancel this insurance by giving at least 15 days written notice, and if no claim has been made then premium will be refunded on short term rates for the unexpired Policy Period as per the rates detailed below.

Additional features or riders

  • Discounts:
  • Family discount of 10% is available in case more than one person is covered in the same policy.
  • Premium paid by any mode other than cash is eligible for tax relief as provided under Section 80-D of the Income Tax Act.

Exclusions in Future Generali Future Health Suraksha Insurance Policy:

  • Any condition, ailment, injury or related conditions for which the insured have been diagnosed, received medical treatment, had signs or symptoms, prior to the inception of the policy until 48 months from the date of inception.
  • Any disease contracted during the first 30 days from the commencement of the policy.
  • Non-allopathic treatments are not covered in the policy.
  • Congenital diseases. 
  • All expenses related to AIDS and related diseases.
  • Joint replacement surgery shall be covered after a waiting period of three years, unless required due to an accident.

Documents Required to File For a Claim

  • The claim form duly completed and signed for on behalf of the Insured Person.
  • Original Bills (including but not limited to pharmacy purchase bill, consultation bill, and diagnostic bill) and any attachments thereto like receipts or prescriptions in support of any amount claimed.
  • All reports, including but not limited to, medical reports, case histories, investigation reports, treatment papers, discharge summaries.
  • A precise diagnosis of the treatment for which a claim is made.
  • A detailed list of the individual medical services and treatments provided and a unit price for each.
  • Prescriptions that name the Insured Person and in the case of drugs: the drugs prescribed, their price and a receipt for payment. Prescriptions must be submitted with the corresponding Doctor’s invoice.
  • Previous treatment record along with reports.
  • MLC/ FIR copy/ certificate regarding abuse of alcohol/intoxicating agent, in case of Accidental injury.

Eligibility

  • Minimum Age- 90 days
  • Maximum Age- 70 years
  • Children above age of 90 days are eligible if either parent is getting insured under this policy.
