Future Generali Future Hospicash Plan

This policy takes care of hospitalization expenses of insured person as well as his/her family. Sudden hospitalization is unfortunate and can lead to increased financial burden.

Future Hospi-Cash provides you with fixed benefit for each day of hospitalization irrespective of the actual medical cost. The benefits are available in cash adding to the convenience of the insured person.

Key Features

  • The insured can claim for each day of hospitalization as per their plan.
  • Maximum Policy term is 1 year.
  • ICU benefit available for maximum period of 10 days for each hospitalization and maximum 20 days during the policy period.
  • Per day benefit will be 2 times when hospitalized in an ICU in the home city i.e. within the city of residence.
  • Per day benefit will be 3 times when hospitalized in an ICU outside the home city i.e. outside the city of residence.
  • Additional convalescence benefit of ` 5000 for hospitalization of more than 10 days; payable only once per hospitalization event.
  • Maximum benefit available for an individual is Rs.6000 per day.

Grace period: Grace Period of 30 days for renewing the policy is provided under this policy.

Portability: Portability will be granted subject to the policyholder desirous of porting his policy to Future Hos[i-cash Policy applying to Future Generali India Insurance Company Ltd at least 45 days before the premium renewal date of his/her existing policy.

Renewal Policies: Lifelong Renewal.

Policy termination: The insured person may cancel the policy by giving at least 15 days written notice, and if no claim has been made then premium will be refunded on short term rates for the unexpired Policy Period as per the rates detailed below.

Exclusions

  • Waiting period of 24 months for certain diseases like benign prostatic hypertrophy, hernia of all types, hydrocele etc.
  • Hospitalization for cosmetic treatments, plastic surgery, refractive error corrective procedures, experimental, investigational or unproven procedures or treatments.
  • Hospitalization for General debility, ‘Run-down’ condition or rest cure, sexually transmitted disease, intentional self-injury.
  • Hospitalization for Pregnancy and fertility related treatments.
  • Non-Allopathic Treatment / Hospitalization.
  • Hospitalization for any mental illness or psychiatric illness.
  • Any hospitalization outside India.

Documents Required at the Time of Filing for the Claim

  • Photocopy of discharge card
  • Hospital Bill/ receipt

Eligibility

  • Minimum Entry Age- 6 months
  • Maximum Entry Age- 65 years
  • Children up to the age of 25 years are eligible if either parent is getting insured under this policy.
