Exclusions of Chola MS Family Healthline Insurance

While purchasing a Cholamandalam health insurance policy, you must know all the plan details to avoid any problems in the future. Check out the list of limitations of Chola MS Individual Health line plan:

  • Any claim arising due to pre-existing illnesses until 2 years of continuous coverage from the policy inception date
  • Expenses incurred during the initial 30 days of commencement of policy unless it is an accidental case. It is not applicable to policy renewal
  • Any disease that has been diagnosed within 30 days of the commencing the policy, if this is the first health cover that is purchased by the proposer with the insurance company. If the policyholder renews this plan without any break and increases the scope of coverage then this exclusion is applicable to the difference in the amount as a result of the increment. It is not applicable to accidental hospitalization.

In case you have any pre-existing illnesses before purchasing the policy, then it will be not be covered in this plan.
