 Design:

  • HD 750 has a very compact design.
  • Thin tyres in front, round headlight, black cowl, radiator & the V-Twin give it a distinct look.
  • The bike comes in four colour options Blue, Red, Matte Black & Glossy Black.
  • Bike’s dimensions are 2225 mm x 815 mm x 709 mm (L x W x H)

Power & Performance:

HD 750 is powered by 749cc Revolution X V-twin engine. The power delivery is linear with ample torque available throughout the rev range. Engine is also very tractable, making it easier to live with in cities. Give it some gas & it takes off in almost every gear. The engine is very easy to live with & both new riders as well as mature riders will like it.

Braking & Handling:

HD750 at 220Kg wet weight is not a light bike. However, it handles beautifully for a cruiser. There is never a problem while riding in the city or highways. City traffic is cut easily, highway miles are munched without breaking sweat. Show it a set of corners & this Harley doesn’t back off and you end up slowing down because of the scraping foot pegs & not because of the chassis giving in. Bike has telescopic forks in the front & Dual shock absorbers at the rear with a travel of 3.5inch & 5.5inch respectively. It rides on 100/80 17’ front & 140/75 15’ rear wheels.

  • The seating position on HD750 is low with typical cruiser like upright stance.
  • HD750 gets a single 300mm disc brake in front & a single disc at the rear.
  • The bike misses out on ABS.

What Insurance cover to opt for:

An American cruiser made in India is still a costly proposition. It is important to have an insurance cover which can get you through costly repairs in case of a crash as well as in the unfortunate case of theft.

  • A premium product like HD750 needs 0% depreciation insurance as it goes a long way in keeping the repair bills down in case of a fall.
  • It is a good idea to have an insurance that gives you complete cover from theft as a premium is a thief magnet.
  • Always prefer an insurance that gives you cashless benefit.
