The insured is free to cancel the policy at any time during the policy term. The refund of the premium will only be on a short-term basis. The insurer can also cancel the contract in case of fraud or misrepresentation, or concealment of medical information by the policyholder.
Ans: Co-payment is defined as the share of the approved hospital bill borne by the insured, and the insurer indemnifies the rest. Co-payment of 5% is applied in all claims in the ManipalCigna Arogya Sanjeevani Policy.
Ans: The room rent cover for In-patient treatment is limited to 2% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs 5000. The cover for ICU charges is up to 5% of the sum insured, subject to a maximum of Rs 10000.
Ans: The members eligible for availing coverage in the Individual policy are self, spouse, kids, parents, and the parents-in-law. The members eligible in the Family Floater account are similar to the Individual policy, but the number is limited to two adults and three children.
Ans: Ayush hospitalization treatment cover is available in the policy up to the sum insured.
Ans: The usual grace period allowed is 30 days from the policy expiry date. Failure to renew within the grace period will terminate the policy.
