There are two ways through which you can check your Goa e-Challan status:
Open Policybazaar's e-Challan webpage.
Enter your vehicle number and click "View Challan".
Enter your name and mobile number, then click "View Challan".
Your vehicle details will be displayed on the screen.
Now, navigate to the "Challan Details" tab and expand it to check your e-Challan status.
Visit Parivahan's official e-Challan webpage.
Enter your vehicle's registration number and the Captcha code.
Click on "Get Details".
You can view the e-challans issued against the vehicle along with other details such as the violation date, penalty to be paid, and more.
Your Goa e-Challan will contain the following information:
Violator's name
Driving License or Vehicle Registration Number
e-Challan number
Transaction ID
Name of the state in which the e-Challan is issued
Date of e-Challan issuance
Penalty amount
Status of e-Challan
Payment source (if e-Challan is paid)
Printable copy of e-Challan payment receipt
As of March 1, 2025, offline e-challan payments are no longer accepted in Goa. Violators can pay their e-Challan fine through a QR code generated by the e-Challan machine or through the online portals mentioned below.
Open the Parivahan website on your browser.
Enter your vehicle, driving licence, or challan numbers along with the captcha code and click "Get Details".
Select the challan you want to pay for and click "Pay Now".
You will be directed to a payment gateway page, where you can use various online payment methods, including net banking, debit/credit cards, etc.
Payment confirmation and receipt will be displayed on the screen for your reference.
Register yourself on the Goa Online portal.
Navigate to "Fine Payment" under the "Goa Police" subsection of the "Payment" menu.
Enter your vehicle/e-Challan number.
Your e-Challan details will be displayed on the screen.
Next, enter your driving licence number and click "Proceed to Pay".
Your payment request confirmation and payee details will be displayed on the screen.
Click on "Proceed to Pay". You will be directed to a secure payment portal.
Enter the Captcha code, select the payment gateway, and click "Initiate Payment".
Select the payment mode and pay your e-Challan.
Your payment receipt will be displayed on the screen.
If you have made your e-Challan payment but the transaction is still pending, you can check your Goa e-Challan status on the Parivahan website.
Log in to the e-Challan page on the Parivahan portal and click on "Check Pending Transaction" under the "Check Online Services" tab.
Enter the challan number or vehicle registration number along with the captcha and click "Get Details".

Follow traffic rules and adhere to traffic signals.
Do not park your vehicle in a no parking area.
Wear a helmet if you are driving a two-wheeler or fasten your seatbelt if you are driving a car.
Carry valid documents in your vehicle, such as a pollution certificate, insurance certificate, RC and the driver's driving licence.
Do not cross the speed limits.
Do not drive the vehicle when you are inebriated.
If you received a wrong e-Challan in Goa, you can complain on Goa's official government portal. Follow the steps listed below to raise your complaint:
Register yourself on Goa government's official portal and sign in.
Fill in your grievance details and attach supporting documents.
Submit your application.
Note down your Grievance Acknowledgement Number to track the status of your application.
You can also visit the Goa Public Grievance Department's official website for more information.
You can visit your nearest Goa Traffic Police Station and explain your case. Carry any supporting documentary evidence to prove you have been issued a wrong e-Challan. Follow the instructions given by the police personnel to raise a grievance complaint for speedy resolution.
The validity of an e-Challan issued in Goa for a traffic violation is 60 days. Traffic violators must ensure they pay their e-Challan fines before the validity expires to avoid incurring extra penalties.
If you do not pay your e-Challan within the stipulated time, an additional fee will be levied. In some cases, the violator may also face jail time.
No. Goa has removed the option of paying cash for e-Challan transactions from March 1, 2025. All e-Challan payments have to be made digitally.
Traffic offenders who do not pay their e-Challan fines within three months may get their driving licences suspended.
Traffic offenders who have more than three e-Challans in a financial year for reckless driving and jumping red signals may get their driving licence suspended for at least three months.
