To check your eChallan status, log in to the Parivahan website or Policybazaar's official webpage.
Open the Parivahan website.
Navigate to the "Check Challan Status" option and click on it.
Enter details such as 'Driving Licence Number'/'Challan Number'/'Vehicle Registration'.
Type the CAPTCHA code and tap the "Get Detail" tab.
Your e-Challan status will be displayed.
Visit the Vehicle E-Challan Page on the official website of the Policybazaar Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd.
Type your vehicle registration and click on "View Challan".
Enter your name and mobile number, then click "View Challan".
Your vehicle details will be displayed.
Expand the "Challan Details" option.
The e-Challan information and status will be displayed.
An eChallan will contain the following details:
Location, date and time of the traffic violation
Details of the traffic violation (overspeeding, jumping signal, etc.)
E-Challan notice number
Vehicle number
Name and mobile number of the vehicle owner
Image of the traffic violation
Fine amount to be paid
You can pay your eChallan penalty in Puducherry in two ways: the Parivahan website and POS (Point of Service) machines.
Open the e-Challan webpage of Parivahan Sewa.
Navigate to the "Online Services" tab.
From the dropdown, click on "e-Challan Services".
Click on "Get Challan Details".
Now type your challan number, driving licence number, and vehicle number.
Key in the Captcha code and click on "Get Detail".
The next page will display essential information like the date of offence, DL/RC number, e-Challan status, and fine amount.
Tap the "Pay Now" option to pay your e-Challan via net banking, UPI, or credit/debit card.
Traffic offenders can approach any Puducherry Traffic Police personnel who have a POS (Point of Service) machine to pay their eChallan fine. The department has added digital payment apps for user convenience. Traffic offenders can also scan the QR code displayed on the POS machine and pay their fine via cash or card swipe.
Alternatively, you can also visit your local traffic police station along with your challan details and documents to pay the fine.
Checking pending e-Challan transactions via the Parivahan website
Log in to Parivahan Sewa's official website.
Go to the "Check Online Services" menu and select "Check Pending Transaction".
Enter your vehicle registration number or challan number.
Type in the Captcha and tap on "Get Details".
Click on the "Transaction Number" you want to check.
Your pending e-challan details will be displayed on the screen.
Accountability: Since eChallans must be paid online or via a POC machine in Puducherry, funds cannot be misappropriated.
Easy Payment: Traffic offenders can easily pay their eChallan fines online without going to their nearest Puducherry Traffic Police Station.

Click on the "Complaint" tab.
You will be directed to a page where you can submit a grievance.
Enter your details, vehicle details, and e-Challan number.
Specify the reason for your grievance and enter the Captcha code.
Click on "Submit".
The validity period of an eChallan issued to a traffic violator in Puducherry is mentioned on the eChallan. Vehicle owners must pay the penalty within the time limit mentioned in the eChallan.
An eChallan will be issued in the vehicle owner's name for a traffic violation. It is the owner's responsibility to pay the eChallan penalty before the due date.
